"What do you want for Christmas?" We are accustomed to hearing this question, even if we have matured enough not to be consumed by it ourselves.
A better question could be: "What do you want for Lent?" And wouldn't it be wonderful if we could answer, with a whole heart, "Lord, I want to be holy."
